So How Was It?

 

 

I was prepared for that question. 

I knew how hard it would be to answer, how often I would be asked. 

 

We just got home two nights ago, and before I'd even reached baggage claim I was embraced by sweet friends and immediately asked, "Well, how was it??!"

 

 

 

This trip has proven to be one of the most influential and significant experiences of my life.  Most of the impact has been internal, and God help me if these things do not become external, evident in everything I do.  Jesus has never been more real or true to me, closer than my heartbeat, more precious than anything.

 

I return affirmed and more certain than ever that God is alive and working in Zambia, that Poetice is centrally working toward that purpose, and that daily God is bringing heaven to earth through it.  This has been a beautiful thing to witness and I am so grateful to have a small part in it.

 

We also had an amazing team, and many incredible experiences.  Honestly it was so much fun and I savored it all.

 

 

For now, how was Africa?

 

Africa was beautiful.
