Recent reading rundown....
Mudhouse Sabbath: An Invitation to a Life of Spiritual Discipline, by Lauren F. Winner
Real Sex: The Naked Truth About Chastity, by Lauren F. Winner
Beyond the Mirror: Reflections on Death and Life, by Henri J.M. Nouwen
The Art of Biblical Narrative by Robert Alter*
*I have waited for almost a year for these to be released for eReaders. I knew I would really dive into them, and wanted my notes and highlights to be organized on my Kindle. I actually started this one and loved it- like I knew I would- then I disciplined myself to put it away. I want to devote more time to it, and to Alter's other books. And that is time I don't have right now. Once the semester is done, though, I'm planning to spend all summer with them. There is just one of my nerdiest summer goals! I have more!
Still: Notes on a Mid-Faith Crisis, by Lauren F. Winner

Love those first two. I
Actually just acquired "Still" although I haven't started it yet (it's next on the list) -- any reading advice, since you seem to be a Lauren Winner fan? (I've heard good things about her but this is the first time I'm trying one of hers.)
I wouldn't say I'm a "fan", but I have now read through all of her books. Our library had all but the first, so I decided to read through each. They were certainly interesting, and good for conversation, though!
