The kids' egress windows are on the same side of the house as the garden. And so vines creep in there, and the plants fill the sky above them. The garden also attracts all kinds of living things.
We've had lots of egress adventures.
We've had snakes, frogs, toads, mice, an assortment of spiders and random interesting insects, and a bunny a couple of times. Also Bella. The cat. She's fallen in there a couple of times.
Jim always does the rescuing of the wayward furry animals. And the snakes.
The kids love it.
