I'm really busy this week. Like, busy getting things back together again after our mini-vacation, and enjoying a week where, besides the class I taught last night, I have no "work" to do, so I'm stretching the vacay out longer and reading a ton in my spare time. But, I heard the blog, and our vacation photos, calling.
So really quick, here's the girls. With their girls. At Starbucks. While we took that long, long, breakfast waiting for everything to open up so our day of shopping could begin.
Grace and Daisy Lanie.
Patience and Emily Rose.
(She told me she was going to give me some "big eyes".)
Lily and Charlotte Lola.

I cannot wait for the day Abigail takes an interest in American Girl dolls. This is so fun, they way you had them name them and all. I love it. Their dolls are so sweet. And so are the "big eyes" haha!!

Really sweet. I LOVED my babydolls growing up. I played until I was way too old to be playing dolls. I guess I still am! :)
BTW- none of the "create your own" look like her- no green eyes with short blonde hair and no bangs... and she changes her mind every time I ask her aboutwhcih she likes... she comes back to Julie a lot but her parents are divorced and that's not really the story i'd like her reading right now, you know?
It's magical, isn't it? My Mom & I took Julia in May & all 3 of us couldn't wipe the smiles off of our faces ;) Love their dolls. Tell Grace Lanie has a twin in Iowa at our house!
