HAHA! Yep, we would so have that here too. Our friends from Chicago came down and made us pull over to take pics of cows and steers to show their wives, because they thought they'd never believe it. lol
Our state fair starts in Sept, and BOY is it an event! It is AWESOME. (the pig races are the best) Hope you guys had fun! The pics are darling! Your girls are SO precious!

Was this a county fair? It looks like you guys had such a good time! I used to love going to our local fair!
Fairs are a favorite part of summer, as far as I'm concerned. Personally, I love pork on a stick and a fresh squeezed lemonade.
I love the 4H exhibits too.

I missed the fair this year and now I see how much fun I missed! Good for you guys - looks like you had a good time.
And man - I love the ice cream from the fair - nothing says fresh dairy like going to the milk producers of your particular county and getting some produce! :)
