3. My #1 advice with homeschooling is START SIMPLE. This is actually just our first year, and I have come to the conclusion that less is more, and that kids need to be kids first of all. We do formal reading comprehension, math, spelling, LA, and writing (all are in one book) and everything else at this point--first grade--is just real-life learning. I looooove to talk about homeschooling, so I'm totally open to questions!
Oh. This photo makes me a little sad. Kinda sad you're leaving b/c maybe it means one more thing is changing and then it reminds me of moving and that's never fun. But I'm excited for you. Hope it all goes well and looking forward to keeping reading your blog!

Whenever we've moved we've had the movers come in and pack us all up. I can't imagine trying to do it on your own with four kiddos. Good luck to you!
