ok, in a total combination of my domestic skills, my desire to serve, and my severe love for cookie dough, i agreed to make enough of said unbaked goodness for 1000 cookies. and that's exactly what i did last sunday night. it was a blast! i, of course, had an expert test panel to enforce quality control. (guess who). tomorrow night, students from intervarsity will be trading their fellow dorm-dwellers home-baked cookies for their bags of trash. it's a fun service project, but as i thought about it tonight, it certainly is a picture of what God does for us-- taking all of our mess and giving us something wonderful instead.
